We are looking for...
....a highly motivated Global Medical Affairs Manager for our Global Affairs department at our headquarter in Allschwil, Switzerland.
Your tasks
- Manage Medical Affairs activities for late-stage development projects as a key role in a cross-functional environment
- Development and implementation of Medical Affairs plan (including such activities as launch preparedness, publications, webinars, key messages and communication strategy, KOL engagement planning and execution)
- Set-up and manage a product Scientific Platform for assigned projects, and execute publication planning and strategy
- Build and execute a real-world data generation and analysis strategy in alignment with cross functional team
- Execute a transition of pre-launch activities and information to secure global commercial Partners and support product launches globally.
- Provide medical affairs support to commercial Partners including field medical affairs team, medical liaison, medical advisors and scientists; support partner activities or projects, as required, including scientific updates, face-to-face or virtual meetings, scientific trainings, medical information support.
- Depending on your expertise you could also play an oversight role in transitioning microbiology susceptibility testing, microbiological surveillance programs, therapeutic drug monitoring, and diagnostics and other relevant scientific activities etc. to eventual Commercial Partners
Your profile
- A PhD/MD or equivalent experience in clinical microbiology, infectious disease or a related life science discipline or a related field or equivalent degree
- Extensive industry experience (5-10 years) in the therapeutic area of anti-infectives (antibiotics/antifungal would be of special interest)
- Excellence in Scientific writing, reviewing and interactions with Scientific community – high quality deliverables
- Hands-on, organized and conscientious individual who is able to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in English, spoken and written, any other language is considered beneficial
- Daily work will be based out of Basilea HQ, Basel area
